Facebook Group to Change Obama’s Breakfast Plans

Trip Nesbit is one of the many people concerned about the Anti-Gay fervor in Uganda which has left many dead, most recently a popular gay activist named David Kato who was recently the subject of a witch-hunt by a Ugandan newspaper.   Nesbitt says “I’m starting a campaign to call the White House which will hopefully affect the dialogue President Obama gives us at the National Prayer Breakfast in 3 days. “
His Facebook Group will be calling the White House at 202-456-1414 en masse over the next few days and requesting a real game changer.  The issue at stake is that the National Prayer Breakfast is run by an elite organization known as both The Foundation, The Family, and the “House on C-Street”. This organization has been specifically linked to the proponents of anti-gay legislation in Uganda by MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and Harper’s Magazine Editor, Jeff Sharlett.
Below is a message from Nesbitt:
Please call the White House 202-456-1414. Tell them you are very pleased to hear President Obama's strong courageous words about David Kato's murder and you feel it is imperative that he say something equally as strong on Thursday February 3rd at the Family National Prayer Breakfast. They are open M-F 9-5 DC time. They do NOT take names so you may call as often as you like. Practice your puppet voices if you like! Have fun! We did this last year and it worked (we got the now famous "odious law" comment). But only with THOUSANDS of calls. There are only three business days between today (1/28) and the actual breakfast.  SO CALL.
Thank you!
Trip
