Elton John hoping for 'Glee' role

Elton John has revealed that he would love to guest star in an episode of Glee.

Speaking to E! Online's Marc Malkin, however, John iterated that he has not been offered a part in the show.

"I love Glee!" he said. "I would love to be onGlee, but you have to be asked to be on Glee."

John recently recorded a duet with the show's star Matthew Morrison but explained that the actor did not offer him a cameo, joking: "I mean, there's more people than him on the show."

John has previously revealed that he is happy for his songs to be covered on Glee.
