I couldn`t stop him verbally, but I tried to tell him through my gestures, Don't Have Sex with Me

As I read this piece of news coming from TelevisionFanatic.com I did know
wether to say' another one' or just start laughing. Let's see your reaction.

Newcomer alleges ‘gay’ molestation charges against Onir:

Yet another case of casting couch has come to light involving Bollywood director Onir and newcomer Yuvraj Parashar who made his debut with a homosexuality based film ‘Dunno Y...Naa Jaane Kyun’, Zee News reported.

After the film’s lack luster show at the BO, the struggling actor approached director Onir for work, but after the meeting, the actor alleged that he was molested by the film director.

The filmmaker has out rightly denied the allegations, giving compelling reasons to suggest that the encounter was mutual. It has now emerged that the director of sensitive films like ‘My Brother Nikhil’ and ‘Bas Ek Pal’ is now filing a defamation case against the actor.

According to sources, Onir invited Yuvraj to his house after a discussion on a social networking site. Yuvraj went to his place with a copy of his last film’s CD, so that he could show his work which might help him getting a film offer from the director.

But to the actor’s horror, he was sexually lynched by Onir. Speaking to a daily, Yuvraj said, “I went to meet him because he is a serious and senior director. But I didn`t know that I`d become a prey myself. I couldn`t stop him verbally, but I tried to tell him through my gestures that I am not interested.”

To which Onir retorted, “I`m going to file a defamation case against Yuvraj as he`s doing this only for cheap publicity.” The director is clearly miffed and stricken at how his reputation is being maligned. daily times monitor

A lesbian in Virginia USA Has Won the Right to Take her Partner's Surname

A lesbian in US state Virginia has won the right to take her partner's surname, after a judge originally rejected the request.

Judge C. Randall Lowe rejected Leigh Anne Ruth Hunter’s request because while “the petitioner and her partner hold themselves out as a married couple,” same-sex marriage is banned in Virginia. Therefore, Lowe ruled that the name was requested “for fraudulent purposes,” reports Advocate.com.

Hunter and her partner, Jennifer Beth Surber, both petitioned to use Hunter as their middle name and Surber as their last name.

The couple have been together for eight years and are raising a daughter together. They wanted to share the name to reflect their solidarity as a family, according to the American Civil Liberties Union, which represented them in court.

The couple filed again in November to revisit their proposed name change. Virginia legal director Rebecca Glenberg argued that the name change did not violate the state’s marriage law because it did not give either of the women any of the responsibilities or benefits that marriage would institute.

Embrace gay marriage, Human Rights Campaign tells Obama

Obama PortraitThe Human Rights Campaign has called on President Barack Obama to abandon his opposition to same-sex marriage.

Obama has said he supports civil unions for gays but thinks marriage is for straight couples. But he also has said his thinking on the issue is "evolving" and "it's pretty clear where the trendlines are going."

As such, "it's time for him to help lead the American public toward full equality for all Americans," said HRC President Joe Solmonese. "We ask him to fully recognize the dignity of LGBT Americans and their families by supporting marriage equality."

Solmonese's exhortation came as the Justice Department appealed two federal court rulings from last July that struck down as unconstitutional the part of the Defense of Marriage Act that prevents the federal government from recognizing states' same-sex marriages.

The section states: "In determining the meaning of any Act of Congress, or of any ruling, regulation, or interpretation of the various administrative bureaus and agencies of the United States, the word 'marriage' means only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife, and the word 'spouse' refers only to a person of the opposite sex who is a husband or a wife."

(The other section, which gives states cover to refuse to recognize other states' same-sex marriages, was not targeted in the lawsuits.)

The administration has said it has a duty to defend U.S. laws -- including those such as DOMA that the president opposes. HRC disputed that claim and urged the Justice Department to "at the very least ... acknowledge that (DOMA) is unconstitutional."

In its appeal to the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the government argues: " ... DOMA is rationally related to legitimate governmental interests. Congress passed DOMA in 1996, at a time when states and their citizens were just beginning to address the issue of marriage rights for same-sex couples. Since that time, some states have enacted statutes or issued court decisions that permit same-sex couples to marry, and other states have promulgated statutes or constitutional amendments that define marriage as between a man and a woman.

"Other states do not allow same-sex couples to marry under their own laws, but nonetheless recognize same-sex marriages from other states. DOMA, which implicates over 1000 federal laws, reflects Congress's reasonable response to this still-evolving debate among the states regarding same-sex marriage.

"The Constitution permitted Congress to enact DOMA as a means to preserve the status quo, ensure consistency in the distribution of federal marriage-based benefits, and respect policy developments in the states without implicating other states or the United States, pending the resolution of the debate taking place in the states over whether to permit same-sex marriage."

In striking down DOMA, the federal District Court in Boston ruled that it violates the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution by treating married gay couples differently from married straight couples without any rational basis for doing so, violates the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution by intruding in areas of exclusive state authority, and violates the Spending Clause in Article 1 of the Constitution by forcing Massachusetts to discriminate against its married gay citizens in order to receive certain types of federal funding.

The government's appeal disputes all three determinations.

In 1996, when Obama was running for the Illinois Senate, he told the Chicago gay newspaper Windy City Times that he favored legalizing same-sex marriage, but since that time he has expressed support only for civil unions for same-sex couples. Very recently, however, he has suggested that his feelings on the matter may be in flux.

In December, he told The Advocate: "My attitudes are evolving on this. I have always firmly believed in having a robust civil union that provides the rights and benefits under the law that marriage does. I've wrestled with the fact that marriage traditionally has had a different connotation. But I also have a lot of very close friends who are married gay or lesbian couples. And squaring that circle is something that I have not done yet, but I'm continually asking myself this question, and I do think that -- I will make this observation, that I notice there is a big generational difference. When you talk to people who are in their 20s, they don't understand what the holdup is on this, regardless of their own sexual orientation."

He made similar remarks to gay blogger Joe Sudbay last October.

Water Polo Star Serbian stud Vanja Udovicic

. Meet 29 year old Serbian stud, Vanja Udovicic. He plays defense and is the captain of the Serbian National Team, where in the past he and his team have won gold in the World Championship for 2009, 2005, and European gold in 2003 and 2006. Prior to that he also contributed to winning European gold for juniors in 2000 and Olympic silver in 2004.
More recently, what I would guess would be his biggest career highlight is being given the title of Best Water Polo Player in the World in 2010. The announcement was made in early January of 2011 by “FINA magazine,” the Journal of the World Swimming Federation. In November 2010, he was also declared by LEN magazine as the best European waterpolo player.
In 2010, with the national team won gold for the World League, gold for the World Cup (where he was the best player), bronze medal at the European Championship in Zagreb (where he was the best player and shooter), among other notable feats. Simply put, he has earned the title.
He has sexy dark features and a great body, which of course you get to enjoy more than other sports since his uniform is a speedo (and a helmet, but let’s ignore that part).
Vanja’s excitement (above water). We don’t know how excited he is down below.
Proving he’s just as hot with clothes on.
Totally confident in his bod and what he’s packing in those speedos.
Not afraid to show affection to his teammate. I like that.
Vanja knows how to handle his balls.
After just turning this way in the photo, I picture him saying, “Well hello,” in a deep, dramatic voice (with an accent of course).
I can’t help but notice it looks like his speedos are coming off… Is the guy whose hand is on him responsible?

Golden Globes: “Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor – two heterosexual actors pretending to be gay, so the complete opposite of some famous Scientologists then.”

Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes
Hosting the Golden Globes awards in California last night, Ricky Gervais delighted in making a series of risque jokes about famous faces in the audience.
In his opening jokes, the comedian noted that the case of I Love You, Philip Morris had not been nominated for an award.
He said: “Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor – two heterosexual actors pretending to be gay, so the complete opposite of some famous Scientologists then.”
He added: “My lawyers helped me with the wording of that joke. They’re not here.”
Reports said that although he did not mention names, it was clear who he was referring to.
Gervais also took aim at other stars, to a mixed audience reception.
Introducing Robert Downey Jr, he listed his achievements and added: “But many of you in this room probably know him best from such facilities as the Betty Ford Clinic and Los Angeles County Jail.”
Downey Jr replied: “Aside from the fact that it’s been hugely mean-spirited, with mildly sinister undertones, I’d say the vibe of the show is pretty good so far, wouldn’t you?”
Gay-friendly comedy Glee and lesbian comedy-drama The Kids Are Alright both scooped awards.
Glee won Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical, while Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch won the male and female awards for Best Performance in a Series, Mini-Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television.
The Kids Are Alright won Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical and star Annette Bening won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical.

In Brazil Over 250 LGBT People were Killed in Hate Crimes in 2010.

Man with painted face and elaborate red costume

Grupo Gay da Bahia is part-way through compiling a report on the issue but says that the latest figures show that an LGBT person is being killed at a rate of one every day and a half.
Luiz Mott, founder of the group, told Terra Magazine that in 2009, 198 people were killed for being LGBT.
He also claimed that the true number of victims was likely to be much higher. His figures were based on press reports.
Mr Mott said that Brazil has “more than 150 gay parades [and] houses the largest association of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender in Latin America,” but at the same time, it is “the world leader in deaths from this population.”
“Brazil has a death penalty, in practice, much more severe than those in most homophobic countries in the world,” he added.
The Brazilian government does not hold official figures on hate crime deaths but the country is believed to have one of the highest LGBT death rates in the world.

NY Gov Mario Cuomo Puts Into Action Gay Marriage by Naming Erik Bottcher

Council Speaker Christine Quinn with Erik Bottcher, whom Gov. Cuomo named community affairs aide, hinting that he will try to legalize gay marriage.
Erik Bottner. Tall, handsome and smart. Erik has been a liaison to the gay community working with Christine Quinn, City Council Speaker. He has been working real hard and following up on issues from hate crimes to same sex marriage. It is with great pleasure that many of us in the gay community have learned that Gov. Mario Cuomo has tapped on this man's talents.
Below is a story I picked up on the NY Daily News this morning. With Erik's appointment the Governor is putting in action,  one of his promises to the gay community. That of gay marriage but also giving the gay community the importance and voice that other communities enjoy in the state government.
I know Erik is the right choice. He is wished success!  I've met Erik in person, the above picture does him no justice.    adamfoxie*

Cuomo is naming Erik BottcherCity Council Speaker Christine Quinn's liaison to the gay community, to the newly created cabinet post of special assistant for community affairs.Andrew Cuomo said during his campaign that he wants to make gay marriage legal in New York and a new appointment may signal he means business - even if it's still an uphill battle.
"Erik's intellect and experience will be an invaluable asset in the fight to restore New York as the progressive capital of the nation," Cuomo said of Bottcher, who served as his liaison to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in the 2010 race.
It's fair to ask whether Bottcher's appointment sends a message about how serious Cuomo is about gay marriage or whether it's just a nod to his liberal base.
Legalizing marriage could be a heavy lift: In 2009, the state Senate, then controlled by Democrats, defeated it by a clear 38-to-24 vote.
New GOP Majority Leader Dean Skelos has said he'll allow the measure to come to the Senate floor again this year, although he doesn't support it.
Cuomo gave a nod - of exactly one sentence - to gay marriage during his State of the State address.
And as he has brought his reform agenda around New York, same-sex nuptials have taken a backseat to job creation and dredging Albany's ethical quagmire.
As the Daily News first reported Friday, Cuomo is raising war funds to take on the unions as he pushes for a one-year pay freeze, a property tax cap and other measures distasteful to labor.
Business interests are also pushing his agenda through an ad campaign funded by the Committee to Save New York.
Gay marriage is already legal in Iowa and New Hampshire - the two bellwether states in presidential campaigns - as well as MassachusettsConnecticutVermont and Washington, D.C.
Plenty of people - gay and straight - have been asking for years what is taking New York so long.
The historically liberal Cuomo has to walk a tightrope on gay marriage: If he pushes it ahead of economic issues in the current climate, he could develop an "Obama Problem" of the kind that forced the President's course correction from a focus on health care reform to "jobs, jobs, jobs."
On the other hand, the new governor risks angering his left-leaning base if he allows a civil rights issue like this one to languish indefinitely.
Ross Levi, executive director of the Empire State Pride Agenda, argues there is "a clear and credible path" to legalizing same-sex marriage as soon as this year.
Levi points to polls showing New Yorkers increasingly supportive of legalization and a study by former city Controller Bill Thompson that says the lack of legal gay marriage costs New York money. The economic impact argument may influence some moderate or conservative lawmakers who are socially squeamish about gays marrying, he says.
What exact role Bottcher - whose statewide work won't be limited to LGBT issues - and Cuomo play in this battle remains to be seen.
But as Levi puts it, "The more the governor needs to act as a fiscal conservative, the more I think he will be having to live up to that plank in his State of the State to make New York a 'progressive' state again."

James Franco, What a Drag

In view of the increasing interest on James Franco, adamfoxie* is reposting this story, which originally appeared at *Daily Mail/uk and then picked up by adamfoxie*  Repost is a word I hate, but in this case an exception is made. After all,  no one deserves it more than Franco.
                                                                                   *
James Franco is arguably one of the most famous young actors in Hollywood today, having taken on roles in films including Spiderman and Milk.
But the 32-year-old actor is entirely unrecognisable in his latest role - posing in full drag for transvestism magazine Candy.
Franco is seen wearing heavy eyeshadow and lipstick as he is shot in dresses as well as T-shirts and jeans for the pictures taken by renowned photographer Terry Richardson.

The shots, which feature in the Fall/Winter edition of the new magazine, come just weeks after Franco came forward to shoot down rumours about his sexuality.
Thanks to the roles he has chosen during his career, including playing Sean Penn's lover in Milk, Franco has found himself the centre of speculation about whether he is gay or not.
However, after insisting 'I'm not gay', Franco admitted he prefers starring in homosexual love stories because they are 'more interesting'.

'It’s just not that interesting to me. It’s more interesting to me to play roles and relationships that haven’t been portrayed as often.'
Franco's next role is Danny Boyle's 127 Hours, which tells the story of climber Aron Ralston, who was forced to hack off his own arm with a penknife after it became trapped under a rock, leaving him stranded in a Utah canyon for five days with little food and water.
And while some people who watched the film in the screening stages have been fainting at the sheer gore of the arm scene, Franco insists it was a level of horror that was needed for the movie.
He said: 'We made this film in a particular way, it's not a horror movie like The Exorcist or Saw where the point is to gross people out, but we felt we needed to respect Aron's story.
'When Aron amputated his own arm it took over 40 minutes, our scene is a few minutes.
'If we cut it back any more to make it more palatable it would have short-changed Aron's story.'

A Rare Truth About Penis Size

Are there safe, effective ways to increase penis size? Yes.
Ask any credible sexologist, and you hear four words: Penis size doesn't matter. But size matters a great deal to many (most?) men. Why the disconnect? Many reasons. Are there any safe, effective ways to increase size? Yes, but they don't involve pills, potions, or surgery.
Here's why sexologists say size doesn't matter. Any size penis can provide great pleasure for the man it's attached to. An estimated 95 percent of penises are average size (3 to 5 inches flaccid, 5 to 7 inches erect). Very few are significantly larger or smaller. When women have been surveyed about what they want in a lover, they consistently mention attractiveness, kindness, caring, listening, sense of humor, and shared interests and values. Very few mention penis size. Finally, sex therapists report that women clients almost never complain about their partner's size. As a result, most sexologists say size doesn't matter.

But many (most?) men feel very differently. They've compared themselves to the huge penises they've seen in porn and have concluded: Mine's much smaller. They've received countless junk emails for enlargement products. They've seen casual sex personal ads looking for men with huge ones. Men are convinced that size is key to women's pleasure and orgasm because a big one stretches the vagina more and penetrates deeper. And if you add up all the authoritative information men receive about size, it amounts to a thimbleful of water in a vast ocean of porn whose message is that hot sex is all about having a huge penis.
Of course, an extra inch couldn't hurt. If you want to be bigger:

• Forget enlargement products. They are expensive, cynical frauds, every one of them, and the people who sell them are huksters who deserve prison. No pill, potion, device, or exercise can permanently enlarge a penis.
• Forget surgery. The full monty, lengthening and girth enhancement, is expensive (around $15,000) and problematic. Lengthening surgery cuts the ligament that makes an erection stand up. This adds an inch, but erections no longer salute. They just hang between your legs and must be manually directed into erotic openings. Girth enhancement takes fat from the buttocks and injects it under the penis skin. Sounds good, but quite often, the result is a lumpy, deformed-looking penis.

• Quit smoking. Flaccid or erect, size depends on the amount of blood in the organ. Less blood means a smaller penis. Smoking narrows the arteries, including those that carry blood into the penis. Smoking limits blood flow into the organ, which makes it smaller.

• Exercise regularly. Exercise improves arterial health, allowing more blood into the penis. But exercising the penis itself is pointless. The sex media sometimes refer to the penis as the "love muscle," implying that like the biceps, certain exercises can buff it up. But there are different kinds of muscle tissue. The penis contains smooth muscle, not the kind that gets bigger with exercise.

• Eat less meat and cheese, and more fruits the vegetables. A diet high in animal fat raises cholesterol, which narrows the arteries, including those that carry blood into the penis. Try going a day or two a week without meat or cheese. And eat five to eight daily servings of fruits and vegetables. They contain antioxidants that help keep the arteries open.

• Lose the pot belly. Exercise, less meat and cheese, and more plant foods help men lose weight, which also helps size. A big belly encroaches on the base of the penis, making the organ look smaller. Lose abdominal fat, and your penis looks larger.

• Embrace meditative relaxation. The arteries the carry blood into the penis are surrounded by muscle tissue. When men feel anxious (including worrying about penis size), these muscles contract, constricting the arteries and reducing blood inflow and size. But as men relax deeply, these muscles also relax, opening the arteries, maximizing blood flow, and boosting size, (Erection drugs work by relaxing these muscles.)
In addition, anxiety triggers the "fight or flight" reflex that sends blood away from the central body, including the penis, and out toward the limbs for escape or self-defense. But as men relax, blood returns to the central body, including the penis.

• Stay warm. You've probably noticed that in chilly locker rooms, your penis seems to shrink. But after a hot shower, it looks larger. Warmth is relaxing and increases blood inflow and size. Before sex, bathe or shower with your lover.

Solving the Mystery of 'Gaydar' One More Explanation

Gaydar: The Ultimate Insider Guide to the Gay Sixth SenseEveryone knows someone with impeccable "gaydar," the seemingly
telepathic ability to tell whether someone is gay or straight.
 Research
is robbing gaydar of its sixth-sense mystique, revealing that some
people literally have the power to sniff out another person's sexual
orientation—and that that ability is strongly rooted in biology.

When Charles Wysocki, a geneticist at the University of Pennsylvania's Monell
Chemical Senses Center, asked volunteers to sniff underarm sweat from donors
of a variety of genders and sexual orientations, some clear patterns began to
 emerge.
Gay men strongly preferred the odor of other gay men, lesbians gravitated toward
the smell of other lesbians, and straight women rated the odor of straight men
higher than that of gay men. Each group, in short, preferred the smell of their
first-choice mates, indicating a scent-based ability to assess sexual orientation.
Another study confirmed that gay men and lesbians can recognize and identify the
odor of others who share their sexual preference. This kind of scent-based gayer
enables gays to pinpoint potential partners instantly.

Larry Kramer slams 'closeted Anderson Cooper for wimpy AIDS show'

Anderson Cooper did a special last night (jan. 14, 2011) about 30 years of aids. for the most part it was a pretty lackluster and bloodless affair, with the exception of a magnificent appearance by elton john and a moving one by mo'nique. the rest of it was pretty much pablum, recycled stuff from eons of too familiar footage, and appearances by people with nothing new or challenging to offer. while the producer spoke to me for hours to pick my brains, he made it plain from the beginning that i was not going to be asked to be on the show because of my outspokenness (and because i threatened jokingly—yeah right—to ask Anderson when he was going to come out and be seen with his boy friend publicly), which, when i heard the cast of who was going to appear, was fine with me. instead, i was invited to write this opinion piece to say what they would not welcome on the show.

what troubled me most about the show was anderson himself. it was a noble gesture for a reporter, closeted or not, to put on an aids special, but did he have to be such a wimp on it himself? reporters are meant to ask questions, and good questions (anderson once had a reputation for doing just that; what in the world has happened to him?); the questions anderson asked were puerile beyond belief. he challenged no one with anything. is that what good reporters do? he had america's leading aids doctor, anthony fauci, on: how could anderson not challenge him with some of the points that i made below (in a piece anderson's folks asked me to write for him)? or indeed to raise one single point anywhere else on the show that i write about below.

the most honest part of the program came at the very end when he asked elton (whom anderson kept fawningly deferring to as "sir elton;" even elton gave him a look as if to say, enough of that already, boy), if he was positive about the future. elton, after a long pause, a very long pause, where you could see this great man deciding whether to say what he really thought, which was "no i am not hopeful about the future," mumble some painful words along the lines of "after thirty years we are still here talking about the same things!" and then he too offering up a platitude of hope, disingenuous in the extreme.

one wonders why anderson put on the show at all. at least he gave me the chance to write this piece. it appears to have had a goodly number of facebook recommendations (evidently the be-all and end-all of today's pulse taking) along with some thousand of the nastiest, most hateful comments imaginable. i am told this is usually the case with posted comments: the nutcases are ready and waiting to pounce. still it is always disheartening to see in black and white the visible manifestations of just the hate i speak of in my article below.
