A lesbian has staged a jailbreak to free her female lover from protective custody where she was being “cured” of her sexuality, according to the Telegraph.

Police in Indonesia are investigating the escape of 15-year-old Tn, who's said to have had a sexual relationship with her 26-year-old taekwondo teacher, Sj, in east Jakarta.

Allegedly, the girl’s father called the National Commission for Child Protection to “cure” his daughter’s homosexuality and voluntarily agreed to place her in protective custody.

But today, reports are abound that Sj - who may or may not be charged with having sex with a minor – liberated her lover earlier this week.

“The security officers were negligent because they did not know that somebody was taking a child away,” Komnas Anak chairman Arist Merdeka Sirait told the Telegragraph.
